This case study explores the process of developing the brand identity for Snuggle Co. Bakery, a small business launched by a passionate home baker specializing in artisanal cookies and cakes. Snuggle Co. Bakery’s vision was to create a brand that captures the warmth and comfort of homemade baked goods while appealing to a wide audience through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

The project aims to create a cohesive suite of brand assets, consisting of a logo, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines, crafted to provide a unified and flexible visual identity for the brand.

Teddy bears are universally recognized symbol of warmth, comfort, and childhood memories. It evokes feelings of safety and affection, which aligns with the homey nature of Snuggle Co. Bakery. Combining the teddy bear with the chef's hat emphasizes that while the baking is done with professional care, it still retains the authenticity and personal touch of homemade treats.

Logo Design

Poppins, geometric sans-serif typeface, exudes a friendly vibe with its clean lines and balanced shapes that make it legible and highly versatile. Roboto Mono is a monospaced font that adds a subtle layer of professionalism and reliability to the brand with its precise and sharp lines.

These fonts create a harmonious blend that reflects both the comforting nature of the brand and its commitment to quality. This selection ensures that the brand's visual identity is not only cohesive but also adaptable to different contexts, from social media posts to packaging and promotional materials.

Typography

The chosen color palette, with its blend of soft greens and pinks, creates a cohesive and inviting visual identity that conveys freshness and quality with the green tones suggesting natural, high quality ingredients. The light pink tones evoke a sense of homeliness and joy, reflecting the comforting nature of the brand. The unique and harmonious palette ensures that the brand stands out and is easily recognizable across various platforms and marketing materials, while effectively communicating its core values.
