My Pain Pal CBT is an online extension of the My Pain Pal app created by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Led by Desiree Azizoddin, PsyD, the BCPI (Behavioral Cancer Pain Innovations) studies the implications of behavioral mobile health interventions on cancer pain management. The app offers pain management support to cancer patients through interactive games and exercises.

In 2023, the institute sought a redesign of the 2D game's onboarding process, instructional screens, and game assets to enhance user engagement and efficacy.
